We'll have to wait until New Year's Day (what, like a couple days from now) to buy a fukubukuro from CD Japan so until then, we can stare at their place holder page. Here's more info on it:
2006 is almost over and that means its time for our annual fukubukuro sale! The CDJapan staff has spent the last week choosing items from our stock that we think you'll enjoy, and assembling them into bags to represent a number of genres on our site.
Now for the fun part. Have a look at our fukubukuro sale page (products go live New Year's Day so for now the page is just a place holder) and find a bag that you like.
So here's the deal; You'll be able to see at least two of the items in the bag, and the cost of every item in your bag should be well over the cost of buying each item seperately. However, each bag also contains a secret item which you won't see until the package arrives at your house.
Now, we won't be answering any questions about the secret items, but I can promise you we've made sure that each secret item fits in with the feel of its bag.
Now if only the US Apple Stores did these too.
So, you think you know Mac-fu because you may've hit a few keys on one in school? Think you're a master in iPodkido because you've scrolled through the menus of one at the store? If you think you're an expert than move along. For the honest ones, check out TUAW's (one of my favorite reads) tips for new iPod and/or Mac users. And welcome to the cult club. :)
That beautiful image of a model on the cover of your favorite mag was almost certainly, beautified with Photoshop. Did you know that beautiful pics of Apple Stores are too? Yeah, I was surprised too. Check it out. [Via ifoAppleStore.]

Let's see. Out of the top ten albums the only one I own (purchased from the iTMS iTunes Store--yeah, I forgot that they sale video too) is John Mayer's "Continuum" which is number two. I don't own any of the top ten singles. Maybe it's time to change my music-listening habits. Nah.

I'm a Mac. Well, at the very least, I'm like a walking billboard for the company that makes 'em. I love my t-shirts and the majority of them come from Panic (makers of software I use like Transmit, Candybar and Stattoo), Daring Fireball, Red Light Runner (when I can afford them) and most recently from a company called Insanely Great Tees.
Insanely Great Tees will be printing new tees and they want us to help. So vote!
